One of the Wii Balance Board's biggest obvious potentials is to use its pressure-sensitive pads in a racing title. There's been no official word on any developer working on anything like that at the moment, but until that time, the 'Wii Racing Xperiment' shows just how it can be done.
Hooking both the Balance Board and Wii Remote up to a PC, the following video demonstrates Need for Speed ProStreet being played - the Wii Wheel to steer, and the Wii Balance Board to accelerate and brake. Exciting stuff:
