While one young lady is benefiting with fame following the viral 'Why every guy should buy their girlfriend Wii Fit' video, another is damning its very existence.
New York City resident and librarian Lauren Bernat (who happens to share her name with the Floridian YouTube star) feels that her future career path could be hindered because of the association with the name:
"If someone has my business card, and doesn't know what I look like, and they Google me, it looks like it's me, and that's my whole career down the tubes," she told Crave.
New York's Bernat has contacted Google and YouTube for help, but there isn't a lot they can do because the original video is accurate and it's just a coincidence that the names are the same.
Meanwhile, the 'celebrity' Lauren Bernat is enjoying the attention a lot more, with a spot on MTV's TRL lined up for next week.
