There had been rumours that Electronic Arts' Skate It for the Nintendo Wii would ship with a clip-on frame for the Wii Balance Board to make it more skateboard-like for a more authentic experience, but it's a suggestion that EA has denied.
Speaking at a recent press event for the game, Skate It's Gameplay Producer, Jay Balmer, said the following when asked about presumed Skate It Balance Board add-ons:
"...That's something I haven't heard... Our focus is just working with what's provided by Nintendo. There's not an extra piece...it's not about fitness, it's about having fun."
