I didn't go to Spain to actively search out copies of Wii Fit (as Balance Board obsessed as I am), but did make an effort to pop into a selection of videogames stores in Barcelona to see if the previous hunches about the title being available in abundance there rung true.
...And as far as I could see, the shortage of Wii Fit in the UK and US is not a problem at all in Catalonia. The image (right) is a snap taken in one PC City (PC World) chain in the Glories part of the city. As you can see, there's a whole pile of Wii Fits just waiting to be snapped up.
The same was true (multiple copies of the game) in other stores I visited too. Makes you wonder just whether Nintendo, as it says, is really doing all it can to help re-stock outlets in the UK and US...

How odd! I guess the game cases of those will be in Spanish though, so they can't just divert them over here I suppose....
Maybe Spain is too hot for people to WANT to do Wii Fit? LOL
