We've heard quite a lot about the Balance Board's healing powers in hospitals, and here's another chance to see the process in action. All very fascinating, but not as much as one of the doctors' oversized sideburns.

I am an Occupational Therapist who blogs about the "Wiihab" phenomenon, and I am so glad that people are picking up on this trend and trying to incorporate the Wii into therapy plans. The balance board especially has so much potential to help people improve strength, balance, and coordination of movement. Also, the Wii benefits psychological and social functioning, as it is fun and it is something that people can do together. Thanks for this great and informative post!
