Skate It Wii release date kickflips into view

Of all the third party developers that have taken the Balance Board under their wings, it appears that Electronic Arts has been one of the most ambitious, exemplified by its 'zonal' trick controls in the upcoming Skate It for the Nintendo Wii.

By splitting the Balance Board's surface into four different areas, players will be able to skate along and perform a wide variety of stunts in Skate It, which is set in the destroyed city of San Velona.

And now word has it that the game will ollie into North American stores on November 17. It's a tentative date mind you, so don't be too surprised if it shifts a little between now and then.

We will, of course, update you should such a thing happen.
