The Conduit to support Wii Balance Board?

In a recent chat with IGN, developer High Voltage Software explained that they are looking at implementing the Wii Balance Board into its ambitious-looking Nintendo Wii first-person shooter, The Conduit.

Eric Sofsinger, Chief Creative Officer for the game explained:

"We've had some interesting requests... even folks wanting us to support the Wii Fit and things like that. We're lookin' at it and saying 'does it make sense?'. And if there's things like that, and we go... it doesn't take away from the primary gameplay mode, it doesn’t take a colossal amount of effort, and it makes some segment of the core gamers happy, we'll explore it."

He then goes on joke about the Wii Balance Board being used in a Sprint function in the game, adding, "you're able to run 30 per cent faster with the Wii Fit."

So, far from a confirmation, but definitely hope that something could happen. We'll keep you posted.
