Studio Zan has announced that the Wii Balance Board-supported Overturn for WiiWare will crash into Japan on December 2nd.
The robot-battling download sees players customising their machines, before squaring up against opponents, either computurised or real-life via the Nintendo Wi Fi Connection.
It wii retail for 800 Wii Points, but there's still no word on whether it will receive a localisation in the US and beyond.
The Balance Board is probably the greatest exercise device to come to the Nintendo Wii. It allows you to exercise pretty much any part of your body, and really build your core muscles.
The best part of the Balance Board is the way it can help you do exercise in a fun way.
1. Take a skiing trip. A number of games that support the Balance Board are winter sports based, so try adding a weekly snowboarding or skiing session to your exercise plan. Skiing is great as it provides aerobic exercise, but also helps you work on your core muscles at the same time.

2. Strengthen your core muscles. Use the balance games included with the Wii to strengthen your core muscles. Core muscles are what keeps the body together and allow us to exercise better and healthier.
3. Go Hula Hooping - use the hula hoop game to get in some aerobic exercise and strengthen hip muscles when you don't have a lot of time.
4. Run with a partner. One of the greatest difficulties of getting in to aerobic exercise is the lack of a partner. With the balance board you can run with an AI partner, so you don't have to worry about not having a partner to run with or stimulate you to better exercise.

"The Balance Board portion has its own set of levels and it took some time to nail down the motions. I can really see this being fun at parties, as it has the potential of making people fall over a lot."

Don King Presents: Prizefighter for the Nintendo Wii will be released in Europe on November 28, according to a number of updated release lists.
Something of a surprise, this, given that the boxing sim was delayed until March 2009 a little while back, and so far, it looks like that's the way it'll stay for the game's US release.
As well as big fight action, 2KSports' boxing simulator takes players behind the scenes, where the Balance Board is used to train in the likes of skipping, sprinting and sparring.
RTL Games has released new screenshots of the Wii Balance Board-supported Winter Sports 2, but we think these look a little too good to be the Nintendo version of the game. Still, check them out below:
With Skate It now released, EA is squeezing out the last of the screenshots it has stockpiled for the game, in an attempt to tempt you into a purchase. If all of the videos and trailers haven't done anything so far, we don't know what will!

Wii Music rolls into European stores today! As one of the first Nintendo Wii titles ever to be unveiled, it's been a long time coming, but its arrival presents one of the most exciting opportunities for Wii Balance Board owners yet.
A drum kit mode allows players to use the Wii Balance Board in conjunction with the Wii Remote and Nunchuck to either jam along to the game's 50 or so tunes, but also provides a series of 15 drum lessons.

Electronic Arts has released yet another trailer for Skate It for the Nintendo Wii. It's painful to watch - literally - as it's packed with ambitious stunts and gut-wrenching wipeouts.

UK magazine NGamer bagged itself the world exclusive review of Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party, and came away very impressed with the title.
The announcement of Hudson Soft's Snowboard Riot this week notches the official tally of games that make use of the Wii Balance Board to 27 in total, but only two of them - Wii Fit and Wii Music - come from Nintendo. Even then, the first is nearly a year old and the second only uses it as a distraction alongside what the main bulk of the title has to offer.
It's not like Nintendo's upcoming projects couldn't make use of the Wii Balance Board if the firm wanted them to. Wii Sports Resort and Punch Out!! Wii, for example, could easily accommodate it, but other than pre-E3 rumours that Nintendo's boxing sim would support the Balance Board, we've heard nothing. That said, relatively little of what both games have to offer has been revealed, so there's still time on that front.
Then of course, there's the question of a follow-up to Wii Fit. With the original still selling so well, Nintendo would be silly to announce a sequel any time soon. There's bound to be one some time, of course, but for now we're more concerned about other Nintendo projects.
Industry big guns including EA, Namco Bandai, Ubisoft and THQ have all embraced the Balance Board for their big holiday season titles on Wii, giving fans of the accessory have much to look forward to for the forseeable future. But with Nintendo's inventiveness and intricate knowledge of its own invention, we're getting to the point where we want to hear something from the Japanese company that proves its continuing support for, and belief in, the Wii Balance Board.
After all, it's in millions of homes, and not all of them are playing Wii Fit any more, nor interested in Wii Music.
