It looks as if a sequel to Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2009 on the Nintendo Wii is forthcoming; confirmation that comes with the announcement that the original game has sold over 500,000 copies since its release last year.
Said makers 3G:
“I’m sure we’ll be co-announcing a full-blown sequel in the future. For now we’re working with Jillian’s team to increase the target audience for her video game franchise. There will be more information available at some point in the near future."

I certainly hope no one is fooled into buying the sequel - this title is no doubt the absolute worst ever for the WII. Most of the exercises don't work at all or are extremely difficult to convince to register your movement - although perhaps your antics in attempting to get to count your effort are part of the "exercise" (if so, it only works as a method a few times, before the game gets tossed into the very back of the closet, since there isn't even an aftermarket for this title). Check the reviews (unless they've all disappeared), they are universally bad. And no effort by the company to issue a fix or replace the game for those who were suckered into a pre-order. Perhaps the new version will work - if so, all those who turn in their original should get it for free, since they were sold such a defective piece of software.
I was one of the "suckers" to buy this game. I had the anticipation of finding a good wii balance board game that provided even a semi-good workout. I couldn't have been more disappointed. This is easily the worst game I have ever purchased and that is saying alot (all the way back to the atari 2600). The moves are barely noticeable by the wii board and I have no idea how this game made it out of development. I will not be fooled again, no matter how many more releases they have. I was robbed once, I will never be robbed again by Jillian or the people who made this game.
