Most Expensive Wii Game Ever? My Personal Golf Trainer - David Leadbitter

Is this the most expensive Wii game yet? We've been following My Personal Golf Trainer for the Wii since it was announced last summer, and while we were caught out by it sneaking into the shops this month, we were most surprised by its price tag... over $100!

This, make out the developers, is a bargain compared to what a personal one-on-one session with David Leadbitter (the game's figurehead) would cost.

The Wii Balance Board and MotionPlus-supported golf sim promises to improve the game of every golfer with professional help and detailed feedback on your posture, weight distribution, and swing... and all from the comfort of your own home, but at that price... we can't see anyone but the die-hards plumping for it.

David Leadbitter's Nintendo Wii outing, it is said, will be stocked online and in golf shops around the nation.

Water Sports Wii Review

A portion of the PC Advisor review of Water Sports for Wii:

"If you're looking for a fun, simple game to play with the kids – and you're bored of Wii Sports and Sports Resort – then this mid-priced title wouldn't be a bad choice. Just don't expect hours of deep, rewarding gameplay, or a richly varied programme of events.

Totally Fit Mel B Supports Wii Balance Board

Totally Fit Mel B Supports Wii Balance Board supports the Wii Balance Board, we learn today.

After 10 Minute Workout, Totally Fit Mel B (that's Scary Spice of girl band fame), Totally Fit becomes th second DVD release to get the transformation to Wii.

As well as a game-only purchase, anothr Totally Fit Mel B listing shows the game accompanied by a Fitness First Balance Board, which sounds to us like a Wii Balance Board copycat.

No more details to go on, we're afraid, but with Totally Fit Mel B down for a November 2010 release in the UK at present, we're sure it's only a matter of time.

Thanks to Janne for the tip!

Wii Balance Board Controls LEGO Mindstorm Robot

We haven't seen very many interesting Wii Balance Board hacks in a while, but this one is pretty nifty - using the device to control a LEGO Mindstorm robot.
